Dyllen Nellis is a college consultant and undergraduate at Stanford University interested in the intersection between design, technology, and storytelling. Having sought out numerous articles, books, and videos on the college application process, she was accepted into 8/8 schools she applied to including Stanford, USC, UCLA, NYU, and more. Two years later, she continues to thoroughly research college essay strategies, works with students (has edited 600+ essays), creates educational content on YouTube, and offers a comprehensive online course to help students craft a successful college essay.

After rising to the top of her class, founding Jan(A+)e Tutoring at 15, and scoring in the 99th percentile for the SAT and ACT, Janae has helped students around the world raise their test-score and navigate the college application process. With over 300 hours of tutoring experience, she now manages a team of tutors, teaches online courses, and helps students around the world. As a Stanford student, Janae utilizes her first-hand knowledge about tutoring and the college application process to help students achieve personal and academic success. At Stanford, Janae is majoring in Management Science and Engineering with a minor in Education.
